Welcome, DreamCasters!!
DreamCaster Video Contest amounts: $1000 to the winner, and an additional $100 to be donated to a community group identified by that winner. For second place, $800 to the winner and $80 to their community group. There are also third/fourth/fifth place awards of $600/$400/$200 to the winner and $60/40/20 to their community group.
Eligibility: Any female 11th or 12th grade high school student who lives or attends school in Fond du Lac County who is not related to a member of Soroptimist International may enter the contest. This contest is unique to Soroptimist International--Fond du lac, and other Soroptimist International groups are not holding the contest at this time.
How to enter: Send your name, age, school, title of your video, phone number, mailing address, and a public link to your video to sifonddulac@soroptimist.net with the subject line DreamCasters by April 15th at midnight. Videos can be created on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. By submitting an entry, you consent to the Rules and Conditions linked below.
Criteria, each awarded between 0 and 3 points

Describe how this dream for your future is based on or influenced by inspiration from a female role model or group (Multiplier: 2, possible total of 6 points)

Explain how this dream includes improving the local community or beyond and will impact other as well as your development as a change maker, through your education (Multiplier: 3, possible total of 9 points)

Identify a local charity which will receive the cash donation if you win; the best entries will identify a charity that is relevant to your dream, supports women/girls, and with which you have involvement. (Multiplier: 3, possible total of 9 points)
