
Virginia M Wagner Educational Award
The Virginia M Wagner Educational Award is specific to those states in the Midwestern Region: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Women residing in these states who are attending a college or university in pursuit of a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree are eligible to apply.
Club deadline: January 15, 2025
Applicants must be currently attending a college or university.

Judging is based on effort toward education, extracurricular activities, and financial need. Neither Soroptimists nor family members of Soroptimists may apply. Applications will be directed to Midwestern Region Soroptimist clubs nearest the applicants' geographic locale for judging. Winning applications at the club level advance to the district level for judging; winning applications at the district level advance as high as the region level for judging. Midwestern Region's own Virginia M Wagner Educational Award honors the effort and scholarship of a women attending a college or university to earn a baccalaureate, masters or doctoral degree.
All applications must be submitted through a local club for consideration.
Live Your Dream Award
The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. The Live Your Dream Awards involves three levels of cash awards.
Application open from: August 15 - November 15, 2025
All applications must be submitted through the Soroptimist International of the Americas website.

The Live Your Dream program begins at the local Soroptimist club-level, where award amounts vary. Local-level award recipients become eligible for region-level awards of either $3,000 or $5,000. Region-level award recipients then become eligible to receive one of three International-level awards of $10,000. Applications are open for submission throughout the dates listed above.
DreamCasters Award
The DreamCasters Award is unique to Soroptimist International - Fond du Lac. $500 is awarded to the winner, second place is awarded $250 and third place is awarded $100. Each winner, regardless of place, also chooses a community group to receive a $50 donation.
Club Deadline: April 15, 2025
Applicants must be any female 11th or 12th grade high school student who lives or attends school in Fond du Lac or Dodge Counties who is not related to a member of Soroptimist International.
